My Body For Life Experiences To Date
A couple of years ago I did actually try out the Body For Life system and quite enjoyed myself managing around 4 of the 12 weeks in total.
Unfortunately I found three problems - more with my lifestyle than the system itself.
Firstly I work some pretty crazy shifts which mean I can be at work before 7am and at other times not be home until 8pm or even later sometimes.
And when you get home at 8pm and have to be up at 5.30am the next morning it doesn’t leave you with much time (or inclination) for exercise. I should also say that I work quite a tough job - both mentally and physically - and get home at the end of each day feeling completely shattered.
All this means it’s tough to find the time, energy and inclination to exercise.
Secondly, I’m very much a results-foscused individual and I am very impatient. I quite often find working out dull and get frustrated if I don’t see results happening fast enough.
12 weeks is a very short period of time, lets be honest, but I need visible and rapid results to be happy. To keep me moving in the right direction.
But I have a plan for that, which I will reveal to you soon…
And thirdly I relish variety and in the past found the Body For Life dietary regime to get pretty boring pretty quickly.
However now I’m 100% focused on the end result, there are loads more diets available on the excellent Body For Life website and EAS have recently published a “cookery book” for want of a better name on authorised Body For Life receipes.
I shall be trying some of these out over the next few weeks and keeping you informed!
